I’m wondering if I should make the 3 hr drive from Omaha, haven’t been to a cars and coffee in this part of the country.

You should! However, I’ll warn you that it starts to break up around 10am. People stick around until noon, but 9 or so is probably the zenith. So plan to get up early. And stay for a BBQ lunch!
